Forest School Measures Up

Published: 6th November 2019

Today in Forest School we took out a range of measuring equipment including: trundle wheels, rulers and weighing scales.  The children were encouraged to take their math knowledge into the outside and apply it to natural elements; converting measurements as part of the task.

Many of the children produced images with measurement conversions and enjoyed the morning outside.

Bryn wanted to walk a mile (1609 metres).  He did manage over 800 metres so he did a fantastic job.  Well done!
