This week the Terrific Tigers have enjoyed reading the story 'Giraffes Can't Dance'. We talked about how Gerald felt when all the other animals laughed at him and discussed what we can't do YET.
We have also practised recognising and writing our names. A detailed account of how you can support your child in developing the muscle control required to write can be found on our Class Dojo page.
The children have especially enjoyed playing with the parachute this week, where we were learning to develop our listening skills and a super PE lesson was had on Tuesday afternoon.
The Terrific Tigers have all spent the week observing their features using a mirror and have created some fabulous self portraits which will be proudly displayed in our class...keep your eyes peeled. We have sung 'Head, shouders, Knees and Toes' as well as a number of other songs and rhymes.
Please take a look at some of our photos...
