Terrific Tigers - Aut 1 wk5

Published: 3rd October 2019

The Terrific Tigers have had another jam packed week...

In phonics the nursery children have continued to play games, helping them to distinguish between different sounds in the environment. The reception children have continued to learn phase 2 letters and have now learnt the sounds: s  a   t  p  i  n  m  d.

In maths our number of the week has been 2 and we have continued to develop our ability to sequence numbers in order. We have also enjoyed our forest school session, PE with Josh, been introduced to the concept of recycling and begun to sort items according to the material that they are made out of as well as creating tiger models using 'rubbish'.

As usual we have enjoyed accessing the different activities within the classroom as well as our daily 'dough disco sessions' which help to develop the muscles in our hands and fingers in readiness for writing.
