With Halloween falling in half term, the Terrific Tigers have undertaken a number of spooky themed activities including making spiders out of play dough and spaghetti. The children have had lots of fun!
Our book of the week has been Handa's Surprise and the children have enjoyed learning the story, counting the fruit and in maths we have weighed the fruit from the story and developed our understanding of the words 'heavy' and 'light'.
Thank you to Zach for bringing in an ENORMOUS pumpkin and Joshua for bringing apples, which we have used to make pumpkin chutney. The children had lots of fun weighing and cooking.
The children also enjoyed their weekly PE and Forest School session as well as a day of fun celebrating Diwali on Friday and creating musical shakers by recycling used materials.
We are proud of how well all the children have settled in this year and hope that everyone has a super half term.
