Whole School Walk

Published: 23rd June 2016

If you go down to the woods today...you're sure to see lots of amazing artwork!

Today Hade Edge School was joined by Hepworth School for a walk in the woods. Both schools have produced artwork that is displayed and so we thought it was the perfect opportunity for us to join together to celebrate our success.

There was a range of artwork on display and the children had the opportunity to observe, touch and experience the art work. It was fantastic to see our very own Teresa the Trapeze artist swinging high in the leafy tress.

On our return to school the children were so excited and described our walk using these words...fantastic, fun, exciting, terrific, awesome, tiring, perfect and amazing!

The children all enjoyed a picnic lunch on the field. To say thank you to Hepworth school for joining us, each class made a sweet treat for the children and staff to eat. They were yummy!

Thanks to Hepworth school for joining us, we hope you enjoyed the lovely buns that we made for you!

Thank you to the parent helpers who supported us today.

Huge thanks must also go to Mrs Sykes for all her amazing skill in creating our art work with the children.

Please do go to see the artwork, if you haven't done so already.
