The Wonderful Wolves have been as busy as ever, rounding up this terms learning.
Our Science work about nutrition and skeletons has gone well, with lots of children choosing to focus their homework on this topic. Frank brought in a badger skull for everyone to investigate.
As well as dance, PE has seen us learn the martial art of tai chi, which has been very calming for everyone!
In DT we've been exploring the history of bread and had a tasting session of freshly baked white, brown, granary and soda bread. Everyone enjoyed this!
In computing and French we've created fantastic powerpoints about different French cities.
If you hear your child talking about 'Road's End' and 'the man in the goggles' ask them what they think happened. Our stimulus for descriptive writing was a video clip which saw this mysterious character in an unusual scence. It really inspired the children, and we had lots of theories about how he got there and what happened next.
Dictionary work has also been a focus this half term, and would be a great idea for a Christmas gift!
Our maths work has (hopefully) been helping us to learn how to tell the time more accurately. This is an area that needs constant revision, so please keep asking your children to read both analogue and digital clocks.
All this work has left us ready for a holiday!
