Friends of Hade Edge School

Welcome to the Friends of Hade Edge

The Friends of Hade Edge (FOHE) School are a group of parents, grandparents, and teachers who get together to raise funds for the school which will benefit the children. We are an informal group who meet about once a month in school, usually in the evening.

We are always looking for new people to join us and get involved, whether you can come along to the meetings, or help out for half an hour at an event.

We hold a number of events throughout the year such as the Easter Fair, Curry Nights, school discos and also participate in the village gala. Over the past couple of years the FOHE have provided all the children with a sun hat, contributed to various theme weeks, helped with the cost of the library refurbishment and purchased picnic tables for the children to use outside.

We like to work with the school council and have supported them at their functions by providing the refreshments.

All committee positions are re-elected at our AGM, usually held in October, however, you don’t have to be on the committee to come to the meetings or help out.

We can be contacted on or just ask in the playground, one of us is usually around somewhere!
